Back to Basics

What can be said? Maybe the value of life is going through a recession. I’m not trying to point fingers, but it often does seem that the left is constantly degrading the value of life. They masquerade behind such catch phrases as the “Right to Die” or the “Right to Choose”, but when will they wake up and realize how off the mark from their own tenets they have gone?

One hundred years ago, liberals fought diligently for the value of life. Thumbing their noses at “the Man” and big business, they fought for such things as the minimum wage, workers compensation, and other benefits to society, the worker, and the value of life. Where have these efforts gone now?

These fights haven’t gone away, whether one likes it or not. Take for example this recent explosion in Texas City, Texas. The very BP facility that lost 15 workers on Wednesday has now had three, get that, THREE catastrophic incidents in the past year alone! In September they had two workers burn to death by leaking superheated steam (steam that is so hot you cannot even see it) and March of last year they had a similar explosion that cleared the plant. Where are the liberals now?? Why are they no longer looking after the workers?

I am in no way blaming the incident on liberals. Being a Chemical Engineer myself I feel shamed that such a string of incidents could even take place, or that people would ever make the statement, “you expect it from time to time”. ALL accidents ARE preventable. Let’s get that straight. What it shows is that there is still a need to be filled, one that liberalism was once founded upon, and which they prided themselves in doing.

So I think liberals need to do us all a favor and get back to their roots. They’ve got to realize that progression towards death is no progression at all, but rather a “recession”. They need to quit wasting their time and ours with killing the old and young, and divert their energies back where the liberal party belongs, saving life.

Welcome, Luke! I think you have some good thoughts here. The Democratic Party has definitely moved far away from its roots, to the point that it is now the driving force behind our culture of death.

Damn, it's a shame how things are turning out. Values of politics and religion were never meant to be fooled around with or not taken seriously.
